Yet Another DanceSport

DanceSport came around again this last weekend.  As always, I had a blast.  I was in five different events this time, with four different partners.  This is my partner for the Gold class Paso Doble competition.  We made it to the second round, which was also the Semifinals.

This is me and my Gold class Tango partner.  We actually got 4th place in that one!  (No, that is not what he wore for Tango, he's wearing his open Latin costume in this pic.)

This is me and my open Ballroom Partner.  We competed in both Novice and Pre-Champ.  We of course didn't make the first cut of Pre-Champ.  We also didn't make the first cut of Novice, but we were really close.  We just needed one more vote from the judges.  Oh well.  We had fun and we'll have another chance in Las Vegas next week.

And this is me and my open Latin partner.  We only competed in Novice, but we actually made one cut, which put us in the Quarterfinals.

I would post videos of the class events, but you really can't see me unless you know exactly where to look.  Same with the Rumba from Novice Latin.  But here are videos of my Novice Waltz, Quickstep, and Samba (you can see me a lot better in the second half of the Samba vid, so be patient):
