Life

Well, nothing overly exciting has happened lately, but I've noticed my mom keeps checking to see if I've updated my blog and I thought I'd put up a new post for her.  A new semester has started--my second-to-last!  I'm really enjoying my classes so far.  I've got Parenting, Greek & Roman Mythology, Religion in the Home, Latin Ballroom, Social Dance, Methods of Teaching Social Dance, and Ballroom Team.  Yes, lots of dance :).  I was super excited to make the team this semester.  I made it last Spring, but it's a lot harder to make it in the Fall.  Last Fall when I tried out I didn't even make the first cut.  And now I have a guaranteed spot in the Winter as well.  Plus I get to dance in the Homecoming Parade next month, and I'll get to be in one number in the Ballroom Concert next April.  I haven't actually gotten to dance during team practices yet, though.  My team is doing a Cha Cha and a Foxtrot; I'm in the Foxtrot and they're working on the Cha Cha first.  So I get to sit and watch or do homework during practices.  I've tried to do homework, but I always end up watching instead :).  For one thing, Cha Cha is a really fun dance to watch by itself, and for another thing, my director is just so dang good it's hard not to watch him as he choreographs stuff.  So yes, team is a lot of fun even when I'm not doing anything.
