Well, my life recently has been pretty much dance, dance, and more dance. I'm in two dance classes, I'm on a formation team, and I'm going to be competing in open competitions in August. One of them is just a casual-ish DanceSport competition at school, but the other is in Las Vegas, so I'm pretty excited. I'll be competing in the Novice competitions of both Latin (doing Rumba and Samba) and Ballroom (Waltz and Quickstep). Below I've posted a video of me dancing our Waltz routine with our coach. This is my favorite of all the Waltz routines I've ever danced.
I actually have different partners for Latin and Ballroom, which has made things slightly more hectic since I have to coordinate practices and lessons with both of them separately. And then I also practice occasionally with a guy in my Ballroom class and a guy in my Social Dance class, so some days I'm dancing for 6 or 7 hours. Whew!
