DanceSport

Last weekend I competed in a couple of class events at a DanceSport competition.  I made it to the second round (out of 5) in the Gold level American Waltz and the quarterfinals (4th round out of 6) in the Silver level International Waltz.  I think that was pretty good.  My Gold partner and I only practiced together a couple of times, and there were a lot of people in that event who have taken the Gold class multiple times (this was my first time taking it).  My Silver partner and I practiced for probably 10 hours outside of class together, but we didn't have a coach and a lot of the couples who made it to the semifinals did.  So I was pretty happy.
